"AirStrike II: Gulf Thunder is a worthy sequel to AirStrike II. I`ve played both games, and while I think that both games are excellent, AirStrike II is slightly better in my opinion. My reason for this is that in Gulf Thunder, there are only three helicopters to fly on, as compared to AirStrike II`s six. Furthermore, it seems that the Ball Lightning powerup is missing from the game entirely, even though it was shown on the help page. Some crucial weapon upgrades, such as the final upgrade for the Big Laser, are also missing. However, Gulf Thunder is still pretty good in its own right; the lack of sufficient weapon powerups for two players mean that players must strategise if they want to get through all 24 levels of the game."
